3. New discussions will have an appropriate and not misleading topic, and they will be posted in the relevant category (no duplicates or cross-posting).
4. New discussions will not be bumped in less than 24h if they don’t have an answer, nor users will repeatedly bump their own discussions to draw attention to them.
5. Discussions and comments can only be written in English, with the exception of introductions of users from countries speaking other languages, and only in the relevant thread.
6. Users will not post personal information (like phone numbers or mail addresses), attempt to lure users users into scam / malware pages, or promote any competing goods and services (by link or mention) other than from sites affiliated to Fantasti.cc or non-competing generic websites like Youtube or Tumblr.

FORUM FEATURES
On the top of any page of the forum you will find links to the following features:
  • Discussions - A list with all the discussions posted so far.
  • Activity - This section is only available to Forum moderators.
  • Inbox - You can manage your old messages to other forum users here. It is no longer possible to start new conversations but you can continue or delete any conversations you had already started.
  • [Your username] - If you click on it you will be taken to your Fantasti.cc profile page.
HOW DO I OPEN A NEW DISCUSSION IN THE FORUM?
Click on the 'New discussion' button on top of the right column. Choose an appropriate Category, add a Discussion Title, and then type whatever you want to say.

NOTE: Before creating a new thread, please make sure there is not one about that issue already. Most importantly, if you have any technical problem with the site (something is not working or missing), please check or post any new comments on the official technical problems thread.

When you are finished click on ‘Post discussion' and it will be published. You can also save it as a draft and publish it later. If you want to make sure the format is appropriate click on ‘Preview’ and you will see the final result in a pop-up. And if for any reason you change your mind before finishing you can click on 'Cancel’'.

HOW DO I COMMENT ON A DISCUSSION?
Go to the end of the discussion and you will find a text box to write your comment. Once you are finished click on 'Post comment' and it will published. You can also save it as a draft for later.

NOTE: When a discussion has been 'Closed' it means no new comments are allowed.

HOW DO I POST AN IMAGE IN A COMMENT OR DISCUSSION?
In the bar over the text box there is an icon that looks like a painting of a tree labelled 'Insert Image'. Click on it, add the URL of the picture and then click on 'Submit'. The image will be included in the comment or discussion.

Please note: the image has to be already hosted in a website, you cannot upload images from your computer.

HOW DO I POST A VIDEO IN A COMMENT OR DISCUSSION?
There is not a one-click way to post them, but you can do it if you follow these steps (NOTE: it only works with some sources):
  1. Go to the page of the video you want to post.
  2. Click on the 'Share' button or link.
  3. Look for the embedding code. It has to begin with the tag '<iframe'. Copy that code.
  4. Go back to the forum, and in the text box of the discussion or comment click on the last icon, 'Show source'. Paste the code there.
  5. If you want to add any text click on the last icon again, which will now be called 'Show Rich Text', and you will return to the text editor. When you are finished you can post or save the comment.
HOW DO I DELETE / MANAGE MY DISCUSSIONS OR COMMENTS?
There is neither a comment management tool nor a ‘delete’ option in the Forum. Your only alternative is to edit them. On top of each of your comments, at the right of the date, there is an ‘Edit’ link. If you click on it you will be able to change your comment for whatever else you want, or just leave it blank.

If for any reason you absolutely need to remove the whole discussion please contact a forum editor.

HOW DO I SEND A MESSAGE TO ANOTHER USER?
It is no longer possible to create new private conversations with other forum users. If you click on the 'Inbox' link you will be able to continue or delete any old conversation you had already started.

HOW DO I SEARCH DISCUSSIONS / COMMENTS?
There is search box on the top-right of the page. Simply type the some relevant words and click on 'Go'.

WHO ARE THE EDITORS AND WHAT ARE THEY GOOD FOR?
The editors are users who watch over the forum to make sure nobody breaks the rules or behave inappropriately. They can edit and delete any discussion or comment.

    CHAT

CHAT RULES [Traducción al español / Traduction en français]
    1. Access and use of the chat is only allowed to people over 18 years old (or the age of majority in their country if higher).
    2. Any discussion or link concerning the following topics is strictly forbidden in the Lobby:
    • Rape - Any kind of forced sex, even if it is a fantasy
    • Minors - Anything related to people under 18, whether sexual or not, even if talking about yourself
    • Incest - Either real or role-playing
    • Bestiality - Any kind of sexual contact with animals
    • Scat - Shit, piss, vomit, etc.
    • Snuff / Gore - Blood, guts, death, etc.
    3. Users will ask other users for permission in the Lobby before sending them a private message (whisper).
    4. In public areas users will only write in English, avoid typing in all caps, and will not flood a room repeating the same message over and over.
    5. Users will not post personal information in the Lobby (e.g. phone numbers or mail addresses), attempt to lure others into scam / malware pages, or promote any competing goods and services (by link or mention) other than from Fantasti.cc's partner sites or non-competing generic websites like Youtube or Tumblr.
    6. Users will be polite and respectful to the rest, and not insult, discriminate, harass, bully, stalk, troll or be aggressive to anyone for any reason, including but not limited to their gender, race, ideology or sexual preferences.

These rules will be enforced by a group of volunteer moderators:
    • Users who break the rules might be warned, frozen, kicked, or banned by a moderator, not necessarily in that order.
    • Upon a moderator request users will stop or move to private any conversation perceived as disturbing, disgusting or offensive to the rest of the users in the room.
    • When necessary to keep the order in the Lobby moderators will have the right to send private messages without asking first.
    • Moderators will be respected as any other user, and any attack on them will be punished accordingly.
I THINK THE 'ASK FIRST' RULE IS STUPID
Despite what many people think, this rule is actually very necessary. Our chat software has some limitations: blocks only work for as long as you are logged in (they are all reset as soon as you log out), and if you disable private messages you will only be able to chat in private under very specific circumstances (see instructions below). Since some users --particularly women with attractive avatars-- usually receive too many PMs every time they enter the room, without the rule they would only have two options: either disabling all private messages even if they do want to chat in private with some people, or spending most of their time rejecting whispers and blocking users. We think that is not fair.

However, just because we have this rule it doesn't mean those who don't mind receiving PMs from anybody need to follow it as well. The rule is intended to protect those users who want to choose with whom they speak in private, and since our moderators can't see private messages they will only act when they are reported someone has broken it. If you don't mind other users sending you PMs without asking first --and don't report it when it happens-- then no actions will be taken against you, but we do need to make sure those who do mind have the same opportunities to have fun in the chat.

I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY WE CAN'T TALK ABOUT SOME TOPICS, ISN'T THIS A PORN CHAT?
The reasons why some topics are forbidden are the following:
    • Rape - While we understand forced sex is a common sexual fantasy, it is above all a gruesome and despicable crime and we have no way to know if users are serious or not about their intentions.
    • Minors - This is a pornographic website for consenting adults, and as such any conversation involving underage persons, no matter how innocent it might be, can be interpreted as child pornography by both pedophiles and law enforcement.
    • Incest - The main reason to forbid incest conversations or fantasies is because it is too often an excuse for pedophilia talk (they always involve a young child or sibling, never fully-grown ones). Also, incest is still illegal in many countries.
    • Scat, Gore, Bestiality - Most users find it disgusting and inappropriate. We understand some people actually like it, but we want everybody to have a pleasant experience here, not just a few. Additionally, zoophilia is considered illegal in most parts of the world, and some countries and states have legislation against the other two.
If our chat moderators and administrators ask you to stop or move to private any conversation related to the forbidden topics it will not be because they want to censor you, impose their moral points of view, or for personal vendettas, but because of the reasons given above. If you really love Fantasti.cc and want to keep using the services we offer please do not try to talk about those things.

PLEASE NOTE: We are aware there are professional videos and pictures in the site that cover some of the topics forbidden in the chat. The reason why we accept those and not any chat conversations is because we know the former are all fictitious and made by consenting adults (who are not related, in the case of incest), while there is no way to verify it in the case of chat users.

WHO ARE THE MODS AND ADMINS AND WHAT ARE THEY GOOD FOR?
Mods and admins are users who watch over the chat to make sure nobody breaks the rules or behave inappropriately. It is a volunteer non-paid position that is only awarded to veteran users who have requested it and proved to be reliable.
    • Mods (short for ‘moderators’) are displayed in golden letters in the 'Participants List'. They can warn, freeze and kick users who break the rules. Warnings have only an informative purpose. If you are frozen, though, you will not be be able to post anything in the room for a minute. And if you are kicked you will be banned from the room for a minute. The current mods are the following:

      carnaldesirenuttyandfunpaul421959cocacolaboynomadflyboy01absolutedeliriumneonkittenmaxpipthebearhotsamuk

    • Admins (short for ‘administrators’) are displayed in red letters in the 'Participants List'. They have the same powers as the mods plus the ability to ban users from the chat. If someone is banned it means they will not be able to access the chat for a certain period of time, which ranges from just a few minutes to permanently. The current admins are the following:

      elizaahootietafkabpixieannabella829ophelia1564fsbreeossie23
Bans are only used as a final resort for users who insist on breaking the rules or misbehaving. If you think you have been unjustly banned please contact an admin and explain your case. Reminder: any aggressive or inappropriate behavior towards mods and admins will be treated as if towards any other users.

If you are interested in becoming a moderator, we post from time to time an announcement where you can leave an application (if you can't see it is because we don't need any more moderators at the moment).

    ARE THERE ANY MORE ROOMS?
No, the Lobby is the only public room. You can however make your own rooms if you want to. Click on the door on top of the chat window to open the room list. On the bottom there is an option to ‘Create room’, Click on it and you will be asked to choose a ‘Name’ and ‘Topic’ for your room. You will also have the option to protect it with a password if you only want some users to have access to it.

Once you are in the new room, you will became its administrator and as such you will have the power to warn and kick users. You will retain your administrator rights even if you leave it, as long as the room exists. But the room will only exist if someone stays in there; when everybody leaves it will be automatically removed.

PLEASE NOTE: user rooms are not exempt of moderation. Chat administrators can access any room even if they are protected by a password, although as a general rule they will stay away unless they have a reason to intervene (like, for instance, a user room actively promoting a forbidden topic).

CAN I JOIN MORE THAN ONE ROOM AT THE SAME TIME?
No, the software only allows to be in one room at a time.

HOW DO I CHANGE MY SETTINGS?
Click on the cog on top of the chat window and tick or remove the tick of the appropriate options. When you are finished, click on ‘Apply settings’.

    IS THERE ANY CAM OPTION?
No, this is a text-only chat program.

CAN I SEND A FILE TO ANOTHER USER?
No, the software does not allow that. You can post links, though, as long as they don't break the chat rules and Terms of Service.

    CAN I USE DIFFERENT EMOTICONS?
No, you can only use the ones provided by the chat client.

WHAT IS THE 'I AM AVAILABLE' BUTTON FOR?
If you click on that button it will set your status as ‘Away’, indicating you are not currently available to chat. The text of the button will change to ‘I am away’ and your nickname will appear to the rest of the users in Italics on the 'Participants List'.

This is however just a notification, you can be away and still use the chat. If you want to 'come back' click on the button again.

HOW DO I BLOCK A USER?
If you click on the name of a user in the 'Participants List' on the right you will be given several options, of which the last one is ‘block user’. Once you click on it their name will be crossed (example) and you will not see their messages any longer, including the ones they send to the Lobby. Please remember that this will only affect the chat, not the rest of the site. If you change your mind, you can repeat the same steps and click on ‘unblock user’.

PLEASE NOTE: Blocks only work for as long as you are logged in, when you log out the blocks are removed.

WHAT IS PM / WHISPER / PRIVATE CHAT? WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM?
All three terms refer to the same thing: private messages, that is, messages you send to another user and only both of you can read.

Private messages can take one of two forms. By default private messages are displayed on the main chat window, along with public ones. This is called 'Whisper’. If you do not want to see all messages at the same time, you can open a new window to display your private ones. This is what we call a ‘Private Chat’ (please remember that this only affects how YOU see the messages; if you open a new window it will only happen in your screen, not the other user’s screen).

HOW DO I SEND A PRIVATE MESSAGE?
    There are two ways:
    1. If you click on the name of a user in the 'Participants List' on the right you will be given several options. The first two are ‘Whisper’ and ‘Private chat’, depending on where you want to display the messages. If you click on the first you will write and see your private messages in the Lobby (so be very careful not to confuse them with the public ones). If you choose the second a new tab will open, and every message you write will be displayed there and kept in private.
    2. Type the command /msg [username]: [message] in the text box yourself.
This is how you send a message. If you want to be answered back please ask the other user first if they actually want to chat with you.

HOW DO I PREVENT A USER FROM SENDING ME PRIVATE MESSAGES? [Traducción al español / Traduction en français]
You have two options. You can either block that user (see explanation above) or tick the ‘Ignore private messages’ box in the settings. The second option will prevent ANYONE from sending you a private message, although you will still be able to read their public ones. Please note: selecting that option does NOT STOP you from sending PMs, it only stops you receiving them.

Even if you have enabled the ‘Ignore private messages’ option you can still chat with another user in private. In order to do, follow these steps (Please note: This is assuming that your target has NOT selected to ignore private messages. If both of you have done so, see the next set of steps):
    1. ASK the object of your desire in the Lobby, if you may PM them.
    2. When they say “Yes”, click on their name in the “Participants List” on the right hand side of the screen.
    3. Select “Private Chat”
    4. Send them a message in the new chat window that you have opened.
You will then receive all of their PMs, while still having PMs from ALL OTHER users blocked.

PLEASE NOTE: You will only receive their PMs as long as you keep the Private Chat window with them open. As soon as you close it, you will NOT receive their PMs any more. If you close the window by accident, YOU will have to re-open the private chat and send a PM to them, in order to start seeing their PMs again. Should this happen, and they PM you before you re-open the private chat, YOU WILL NOT GET THEIR PM.

So, what happens if BOTH users have selected the “Ignore Private Messages” option? If this is the case, please follow these steps:
    1. Agree between you in the Lobby, which ONE of you should unselect the “Ignore Private Messages” option.
    2. When that one person has unselected the option (using the first set of steps) the one who still has the “Ignore Private Messages” option SELECTED should send the first PM.
    3. Once a Private Chat window has been opened, and the horny chat is starting, the person who unselected the option can then RE-SELECT it.
This means that BOTH parties will NOT receive PMs/whispers from anyone else while chatting together.

PLEASE NOTE: In this case, if one user closes the Private Chat window by accident, that user should unselect the “Ignore Private Messages” option, RE-OPEN the Private Chat window with their partner, then WAIT until they send a PM. Once they have sent one, and your conversation has restarted, you can re-select the “Ignore Private Messages” option.

Remember, if you think an other user is being aggressive or harassful please report it to a moderator or administrator if they are available.

HOW DO I PUT MY NAME IN ITALICS AND PRETEND LIKE I'M DOING SOMETHING?
You probably mean the action command. As in, for instance: Elvis has left the building. You can do that by writing the command ‘/me’ plus the message or whatever action you want to pretend doing. Which in the case of Elvis would be ‘/me has left the building’.
